Budget not approved, salaries to be increased, Railway Workers Union threatens to stop train operations

Pakistan Railway Workers Union has threatened to stop the train operation.
According to details, a protest has been registered against the union for not increasing salaries and firing, in which the leaders said that the government has presented an anti-people budget. Speaking of workers, the Prime Minister should not snatch bread from them for two hours.

Sarfraz Khan, leader of the Railway Workers' Union, and other leaders, including Central President Inayat Ali Gujjar, have termed the government's preparation of lists to evict workers as a labor-intensive move. He said that if the government did not increase salaries, protests would be launched.

In this regard, the protesting members have demanded that the government, like Sindh, should increase the salaries of the workers by 10%, otherwise they will go head to head for their legitimate demands.

It may be recalled that the federal government and the provincial government, while presenting the budget, had announced no increase in the salaries of government employees, while the Sindh government alone had increased the salaries of the workers by 10%. In addition, opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has also demanded an increase in the salaries of workers and government employees.

It is to be noted that at present smart lockdown is going on all over the country due to Corona due to which people's jobs have been badly affected. Inflation is also rising due to these restrictions, but this year's budget did not increase the wages of workers, which will cause them difficulties. But now, fed up with the situation, the Pakistan Railway Workers Union has threatened to stop the train operation.

They have taken a stand that the government has presented an anti-people budget, the Prime Minister who is talking about the workers should not snatch bread from them for two hours, if the government does not increase the salaries, they will launch a protest movement.
